It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann (Blick) Lewin in Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Pack Place and Junior League of Asheville; her husband William; her daughters, Amanda (Kenneth) of Rocky Mount, NC and Rachel (Tony) of Mount Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Rebekah and Matthew; her siblings, Barry Blick (Scottie) of Hickory, NC and Marilyn Gross (Irv) of South Glastonbury, CT; her sister-in-law Myrna Orphan (Nick) of Atlanta, GA.; and her parents, Milton Blick and Ruth Blick of Raleigh, NC. She was also cherished by her nephews, nieces, and countless cousins.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Congregation Beth Israel (229 Murdock Ave, Asheville, NC 28804).
