We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2023, at the age of 85, Barbara Fortune Musselwhite (Raleigh, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Louis and Lois Lynn Fortune; and her husband Marvin Duncan Musselwhite, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Musselwhite Wallace (Robert) of Raleigh and Robert Britt Musselwhite (Sharon) of Morehead City, NC; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hamilton Wallace, Robert Britt Musselwhite, Jr., Rollins Wallace Bradley (Ben), Marvin Duncan Musselwhite II (Cara Parnes) and Katherine Scott Musselwhite.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish to, send memorials to: Christ Episcopal Church, 120 East Edenton Street, Raleigh, N.C. 27601 or to Duke University for the Musselwhite Family Endowment, a need-based scholarship for deserving Wake County, NC students with "Musselwhite Scholarship: 6185454" on memo line.
