With solemn reverence, we commemorate Betty Carter Waters of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, whose life came to an end on February 5, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gray Carter and Minnie Morris Carter; her sister Clara Mae Wilson; and her nieces, Vicky Rowe and Ann Gray Wilson.

She is survived by: her husband Albert R. Waters; her children, Pam Pritchard of Raleigh, NC and Mike Waters (Donna) of Youngsville, NC; her grandchildren, Angela Cassanova (Nic) of Raleigh, NC, Matthew Pritchard (Shelby) of Wake Forest, NC, Chandler Waters of Banner Elk, NC and Caitlin Waters of Mobile; her great grandchildren, Payton, Zoey, Bella and Emery; and her nephew Morris Wilson (Jan). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers her family requests that donations be made to Hayes Barton Baptist Church.
