We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2022, at the age of 81, Betty Stephens McElveen (Raleigh, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Daisy Johnson Stephens; her siblings, Tom, Doug, Troy and Lula; her former husband Harold; and her pet Bruce.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Denise) and Phyllis (Dennis); her grandchildren, Brooke, Elizabeth (Andrew) and Brandi (Samuel); her great grandchildren, Katie-Anne, Hannah and Natalie; and her siblings, John, Ruth and Judy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA of Wake County in Betty's name to honor her love of animals using their "Give in Honor or in Memory of a Loved One" donation page.
