She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Deborah Johnson Brown; her adoptive mother Selma (Troy Johnson); her daughters, Karen Edmundson Dann of Charlotte and Kristin Wells Edmundson of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Sterling Edward Dann, Bowman Hale Blevins and Huntley Henry Dann; her spouse Uwe Funke; and her close friend Pattie Moore (Beverly).
