He is survived by: his wife Mary Murrell Martin; his children, Debra Martin Surratt, Lucretia Martin Porter (John), Dawn Martin, Constance Martin Baker (Abdul), Lisa Payne, Yenitta Ockletree, Carlton Hockaday (Angie) and Maurice Mangum; and his siblings, Janice Patricia McNeil, Lela Irene Leonard, Catherine Martin and Russell Martin. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
