He is survived by: his wife Gail Lewis; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Becky Lewis; his grandchildren, Landon and Anna Lewis; his sisters, Nancy (William Meadows) and Judith (Fred Reavis); and his pet Bo.

A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mingo Baptist Church Cemetery (1465 Mingo Church Rd, Dunn, NC 28334).
