He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Peoples and Gertie Lassiter Peoples; and his siblings, Bryant, Fred, Avery, Elizabeth, Burt, Ray, Linwood and Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Winifred Hawkins Peoples; his daughters, Lori Peoples Jones (Tim Jones) and Juli Peoples Baynard (Jamie Baynard); his grandchildren, Logan, Reese and Reagan; his great grandchild Jana Peoples Pittman (Chan Pittman); Masyn and Elli.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaria Baptist Church Endowment Fund or Johnston Health Foundation – Hospice Fund (which supports the SECU Hospice House).
