She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Turnipseed Alcock (Alan Randall Alcock) of Cary; her granddaughter Claire Alcock; her siblings, Dr. Lavonne K Fore (J. Mack Karesh) of Charleston, SC, George T. Fore, Jr. (Joyce K. Almond) of Raleigh, John B. Fore (Cynthia) of Travelers Rest, SC and Ann F. Howell (Wes Howell) of Sanford; her nephews, Gabriel Fore, Luke Fore and Andrew Howell; her niece Elizabeth Fore; her great-nephews, Truman Fore, Oliver Fore and Cameron Fore; and her great-niece Leni Howell.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Montlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made in Brenda's memory to Samaritan's Purse in support of Operation Christmas Child.
