He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Dudeck Pierce and Annie Marion Basnight of Maple Hill, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Beverley Pierce; his sister Shirley Pierce; and his sister-in-law Drs. He is also survived by six children he fathered or raised, six grandchildren; nieces; and a number of loving cousins and their extended families.
