He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Flick and Mary Grace Flick; his former wife Miriam Annette Mehaffey Flick; his daughter Kathy Lynn Sears; and his brother Carlos Thomas Flick.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Gober Flick; and his daughters, Phyllis Flick Zarko of Manchester, NJ and Karen Sue Parsons of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh NC 27607 or to the charity of one's choice.
