She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Caldwell, Sr. and Helen Elsa Menninger Grischy; her husband Eugene Sawicki; and her sister-in-law Elaine Caldwell. She is survived by: her daughter Kristen Caldwell; and her brother Charles Caldwell, Jr.. She is also survived by family members, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the White Memorial Presbyterian Church (1704 Oberlin Rd, Raleigh, NC 27608).
