It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Francis Powers III of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Charles Francis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles Francis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles Francis leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Powers II and Pearl Streb Powers. He is survived by: his son Dan; his granddaughter Naomi Powers; his sister Kathryn Powers Myzska (Michael); his partner Sandy Chrisawn; his partner's child Charlie (Corie); and also, Connor and Carson.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown Wynne Funeral Home (1701 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jesus Cathedral (715 Nazareth St, Raleigh, NC 27606).
