We are sad to announce that, on July 12, 2024, at the age of 85, Charles Vinell Marsalis of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Smith-Marsalis; his children, Sharon Leverne Marsalis, Michael Anthony Marsalis (Carol) of Raleigh, NC and Sterling A. Smith of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Tiffany M. Wade, Symone A. Marsalis and Anthony V. Marsalis; and his great grandchild Loveleigh Wade. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, a host of relatives and friends.
