He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Jeffries and Leondras Powell; and his wife Edna Kelly Powell. He is survived by: his daughter Fern Powell Hockaday (Rufus Hockaday); and his grandchildren, Christian Powell, Chadd Hockaday (Keesha) and Zina Hockaday. He is also survived by 9 Great-grandchildren, along with a host of relatives, and friends.
