Christopher Owen Quinby Obituary

The passing of Christopher Owen Quinby (Raleigh, North Carolina) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 79. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Christopher leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Christopher may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bill Quinby and Connie Quinby; his sisters, Pat, Susan and Kathy; his children, Kyle and Cara; and his wife Barbara. He was also cherished by children's and sisters' spouses, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, prayers are always welcome and if you would like to support one of Chris's favorite ministries, donations can be sent to Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral for Refugee Resettlement, Habitat Catholic Coalition, or the Door Fund/Ministry.
