It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Suter Bennett of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Alameda, California, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Bennett, Sr. and Doris Reichenbach Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Harwell Bennett; his children, Teresa Bennett Stephens and Clifford S. Bennett, Jr.; his grandchildren, Morgan Louise Stephens, Cameron Russell Stephens, Jr. and Azalee Mae Bennett; his sister Kathryn Bennett Caddell (Buzz) of Fuquay Varina; and his brother-in-law Robert Harwell (Carolyn) of Greenville, S. C.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
