She was predeceased by: her parents, Beely Carlton and Olla Ossie Baker Smith; her husband Alonzo Jackson McKee, Jr.; and her daughter Penny McKee. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Idol (Ronald) and Susan Smeltzer; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Jamie Idol, Ashley Smeltzer, Mary Edwards (Daniel), Douglas Edwards, Virginia Edwards, Benjamin Edwards and Huntley Edwards.
