He is survived by: his wife Velma Register-Deane; his daughters, Sarah Thompson of Raleigh and Deidre Deane of Raleigh; his mother Elleen Burwell; and his siblings, Scott Burwell, Tracy Burwell, Michelle Lane and Elree Flentroy. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
