She is survived by: her sons, Demetrius Batts (Kelly) of Raleigh, NC and Jamaal Milo Alston of Raleigh, NC; her sister Gardenia Batts of Raleigh, NC; her nephew Jyron Batts of Raleigh, NC; her great-nephew Jaquan Batts of Rocky Mount, NC; and her grandchildren, Devin Batts, Darius Batts and Amari Mercer (Alston).
