He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Charles Ramey Sr. and Gladys Elizabeth Brim Ramey of Surry County, NC.; his former wife Teresa Lee Ramey; and his sister Linda Porter (Ralph Willett). He is survived by: his wife Judith Traynham Ramey; his children, Lisa Lee Willett of High Point, NC, Dale C. Ramey III (Suzanne Carr Ramey) of Raleigh, NC and James Ramey (Patti Dixon Ramey) of Raleigh, NC; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Willett, Lilly Willett, David Willett, Sydney Ramey Jones (Logan Jones), Charlie Ramey and Emma Ramey.
