He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Vandenboom and Elizabeth Vandenboom; his stepmother Ruth Vandenboom; his sisters, Geri Trail, Kay Kendra and Linda Burks; his parents-in-law, Macy Lilly Varian and Cyril Lilly; his stepfather-in-law Fred Varian; his son-in-law Aaron Douglas Miller; his brothers-in-law, Earl Jones and Michael Pirtle; and his siblings' children, Haley Smith and Ryan Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lilly Vandenboom; his children, Teresa Williams (John), Stacy Miller, Paul Vandenboom (Tammy) and Edward Vandenboom; his siblings, Connie Ingram (Jerry), Patty Boles (Ricky) and Craig Vandenboom (Naomi); his siblings-in-law, Sue Pirtle, Kay Lilly, Melissa Jones, Rick Lilly (Dee) and Pat Burks; and his grandchildren, Sydney Morgan (Oussama Hamdouchi), Sarah Clark (Michael), Kayla Brooke Miller, Cameron Vandenboom (Aaron Mills), Rebekah Vandenboom, Kasey Vandenboom, Ashley Hudgens (Drew), Nathan Vandenboom and Luke Miller.
