Daylon is survived by: wife Minnie Rand; daughters, Valeria Oruma of Raleigh, NC and Shelia Rand of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Bettie English of Raleigh, NC and Lillie Smith of Clayton, NC; grandchildren, Charles Oruma Jr. of Rocky Mount, NC and Valenie Oruma of Raleigh, NC; and great grandchildren, Jadoryon Nicholas, Jaylon Oruma, Jordan Oruma-Williams and Charles Oruma III.
