She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Thompson and Wanda Lou Presley Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Novak; her stepchildren, Daniel Allen Novak of Rio de Janeiro, Cheryl Nichols of North Lawrence and Raymond Novak, Jr. of Holmes County, Ohio; and her brothers, Wayne Thompson of Wendell and Stephen Thompson of Wendell.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Auburn Village Clubhouse (110 Canary Ct, Raleigh, NC 27610).
