She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John AME Church (3001 Tryon Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
