Dennis will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Dennis is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Dennis’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Carpenter Tyler and Ruby Carriker Tyler; and his wife Detra Carter Tyler. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Pike (Robert) of Knightdale; and his grandchildren, Joshua Pike and Ella Pike.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
