Dennis Neil McLain Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Neil McLain (Raleigh, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud McLain and Hedvik McLain. He is survived by: his wife Linda McLain (Lowder); his siblings, Gary McLain and Claudette Kitzman; and his children, Celeste Paranjape (Girish), Heather Hinson (Brian Williams), Tim Thomas (Irasema), Melissa Brock (Randy), Sean Thomas and Todd Thomas (Mayra). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Asbury Church (6612 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613).
In 2019, he received the Watkins Award for Mission Advancement in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to education and economic empowerment.
