Don leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Don’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He is survived by: his children, Kayla Keith, Amari Smith and Sonny Smith; his grandson Koa Keith; his parents, Evangelist Linda Williams Johnson and Donald Stanford Keith (Brenda); and his siblings, Leannette Keith Chavis, Donna Keith and Kia Keith. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Poplar Springs Christian Church (6115 Old Stage Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
