We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2024, at the age of 77, Don Lee Roberts of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Don Lee find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Don H. Roberts and Mabel H. Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Paula M. Roberts; his stepsons, John and Wes; his sister Martha Frances; his brother-in-law Jackie; and his nephews, Don (April) and Billy. He is also survived by his family and his friends.

“Paula, I am so sorry and devastated by the loss of your best friend and husband. He was my best friend for so many years when we were young. We had so much fun growing up together and yes, we got in trouble, and Lee’s mother was always there to give us a spanking. We kept in touch on Facebook through the years. I know Lee was a child of Christ and God will Have a wonderful person playing records for all the angels that will be dancing on clouds, shagging to the music that Lee will be playing.”
