We announce the death of Donald Mitchell (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Mitchell (Bill) and Mary Estelle Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his daughter Melissa; his grandson Solstice Ramos; and his great grandchild Chanlina.
In lieu of flowers, Don's family encourages donations to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation or the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
