She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gordon and Myrtle Peel Bailey; her husband Ben H. Grimes; and her sister Susan Corinne Lewis. She is survived by: her son Neill Grimes (Virginia) of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren, Jane Oliver (Mario) of Memphis, TN and Ben Grimes of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Virginia Mae and Lawrence Oliver; and her brother George G. Bailey, Jr. (Peggy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hillyer Memorial Christian Church Endowment.
