It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Nelson of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Cox (Les) of Greenville, NC, Sharon Mallette (Julius) of Greenville, NC, Diann Freeman of Raleigh, NC, Harold Freeman (Ruby) of Raleigh, NC and Johnny Freeman (Felicia) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
