He is survived by: his wife Patti; his daughters, Jennifer Almekinder and Tara Vogelien; his son-in-law Matthew; his grandchildren, Samantha and Franklin Vogelien; and his sister Marie Carpenter of Wisconsin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
