He was predeceased by: his parents, Onie E. Hobbs and Lucy Hobbs (Gilliland); his wife Dolores V. Hobbs; and his sisters, Joyce Bateman (Visalia) and Janice Kobek (San Jose).
He is survived by: his children, Rick W. Hobbs (Kristine) of Henderson Kentucky and Leslie Hobbs of Raleigh; and his granddaughters, Aeriel and Kennedy Hobbs. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
