He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Francis Willer and Mary McKinley Willer; and his siblings, Phillip McKinley Willer and Emily Willer Turner. He is survived by: his wife Cornelia Campbell Willer; his daughter Laura Campbell Willer (David Lauhon Huffstetler); his grandsons, David Lauhon Huffstetler, Jr. and Edward Groves Huffstetler; his son Edward Groves Willer (Windy Niebler Willer); and his grandson Otto Simon Willer.

Ed was a longtime Realtor in Raleigh; he served as President of the Raleigh Board of Realtors, and was on the NC Real Estate Education Foundation.
