He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben L. Clifton and Thelma A. Clifton; his wife Ruth M. Clifton; and his siblings, Robert Lacy Clifton, Ethel Gray Raymond and Dorothy Lassiter.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley A. Clifton and Edwin E. Clifton, Jr.; his granddaughter Kelsie Prunka (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Jacqueline, Eleanor, George and Helen Prunka. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
