It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert Thomas House Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Frances House and Elbert Thomas House, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Susan House; his daughter Jennifer House Hartsfield (Greg Hartsfield); his grandchildren, Raymond Hartsfield, Nora Hartsfield and Sadie Hartsfield; his sister Judie Barbour (Craig Barbour); his brother-in-law Gary Wood (Lou Martin); his niece Rachel Barbour; and his nephew Garrett Wood (MaKayla Wood).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
