She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Walter Howard Wilson; and her siblings, Robert Willis Pope and Anne Pope Melvin. She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Taylor (Van) of Charleston, SC, Nancy Tucker (Edwin) of Blowing Rock, NC, Sarah Woodard (Mike) of Durham, NC, Mary Ashley Brook (David) of Raleigh, NC and Walter Wilson (Lou) of Advance, NC.; and her caregivers, Freda Dodoo, Ashley Credle, Jacque Henderson and Linet Abuya. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
