She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Harrell Parsons and Thomas Howell Parsons; her husband Grady Cooper, Jr.; her siblings, Sadie Markham, Dorothy Hash, Iris Sitze, Audrey Swain, Lydia Williams, Thomas Parsons, Emerson Reid, Alonzo Reid and William Reid; her siblings-in-law, Mary Dobbins (Grover), Eleanor Cooper, Carolyn Comer (Frank), John Cooper (Mary Lou) and John Jones; her nephew David Dobbins; and her daughter-in-law Jane Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline Cooper Lamm (Kent) of Charlotte, NC and Grady Cooper III of Studio City, CA; her grandchildren, Ellen Cooper of New York City, Audrey Cooper and Cooper Lamm; her sister Susie Jones of Wilmington, NC; her sister-in-law Sylvia Parsons of Santa Rosa, CA.; and her nieces and nephews, Grover Dobbins (Martha), Daniel Dobbins (Angie), Steve Cooper (Mary), Sam Cooper (Larry Hazelwood), Van Cooper (Harvi), Susan Jones, Martha Jones and Rebecca Kays (Noah).
