We announce the death of Elizabeth Marriott Procter Little (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 97. She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Ivan Marriott Procter and Madeline Jones Procter; husband: William (Bill) Bennett Little, Jr.; brother: Jarvis Reginald Procter; sisters: Doris Procter Bason and Nancy Procter Langley; children: Marriott Little Sheldon, Corneille Harris Little, Elizabeth Little Barnes (Jeffrey) and William Bennett Little, III (Susan Haynes); grandchildren: Kimberly Lin Mallard, Stanford Lane Mallard, Courtney Yeates Sheldon (Lindsay), William Procter Sheldon, James Little Sheldon (Micaela McPadden), Madeline Sears Meersman (Nathan) and Rebecca Little Barnes (Jacob); great grandchildren: Dylan, Leyla, Zara, Bennett and Isobel; other: George F. Bason, Anna Jarvis, Charles Reid, Joe Cox, Dong Kingman and Wolf Kahn; and many beloved nephews, nieces, friends and caregivers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (120 E Edenton St, Raleigh, NC 27601).
