It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Jones Berry (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ellen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Lewis Berry; and her daughter Mary Grainger. She is survived by: her children, Louise Ove (Mike), Will Berry (Catherine) and Raymond Berry (Betty).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wakeminister Baptist Church (13221 Old Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
