He is survived by: his wife Mildred Holden (Toni); his children, Elvin Leonard Holden, Jr. and Samaria Turner (James); his siblings, Thornie Holden, Jr. and Alice Maybelle Holden; and his siblings-in-law, Diana Blue and Charles Shepherd, Jr. (Shirley). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
