She is survived by: her children, Emma Jo Winstead Tinsley (John) of Youngsville and Frank Thomas Winstead of Youngsville; her daughter-in-law Deborah Howell Winstead of Rocky Mount; her brother-in-law David Winstead (Gladys) of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Emily Tinsley Konkle (Zeke) of Raleigh, Rachel Tinsley Griffin (Stephen) of Youngsville, Robert Lindsey Winstead (Tamara) of Salisbury and Jonathan Howell Winstead of Rocky Mount; and her great grandchildren, William Konkle, III of Raleigh, Ethan Konkle of Raleigh, Tinsley Konkle of Raleigh and Trenton Davis Griffin of Youngsville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Free Union Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery (3454 Macedonia Rd, Spring Hope, NC 27882). A reception will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM.
