With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Florine Williams of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Elm City, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Todd Tabron and Joe Green Tabron; her husband Pete C. Williams; and her siblings, Dorothea Tabron, Marjorie Stewart, Eula Powell, Harvey Lee Tabron, Alfred Tabron and Bobby Ray Tabron.
She is survived by: her children, Meloney Brown (Steve) of Wake Forest, NC, Dena Patton (Billy) of Youngsville, NC, Tifonie Washington (Amahri) of Charlotte, NC and Clea Williams of Charlotte, NC; her stepdaughter Herita Jones of Greensboro, NC; her goddaughter Sherry Cofield of Raleigh, NC; and her sister Ella Holden (Carson) of Spring Hope, NC.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Springfield Baptist Church (4309 Auburn Knightdale Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
