He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dee King and Lois Alma Hill; his wife Sylvia King (Ladd); his daughters, Cindy Rossway and Barbara Maton; and his sisters, Thelma Kuchenmeister and Lois Mowbray.

He is survived by: his son Richard King.
