He is survived by: his wife Lytha Evans Stancil; his daughter Eshe Stancil; his siblings, Janice Stancil Carter (Melvin), Donnell Stancil (Dee), Eddie Richardson, Demetris Anderson and Shawn Anderson; and his stepson Donald Ellison (Nina). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610).
