He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Marsh; and his father-in-law Dr. Philip Shoemaker. He is survived by: his mother Georgia Marsh; his wife Catie; his sons, Sam and Nate; his brothers, Bill (Patty) and Bob (Allison); his mother-in-law Cissie; and his brother-in-law David (Denise). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (300 St Marys St, Raleigh, NC 27605). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hayes Barton Baptist Church (1800 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27608).
