She was predeceased by: her brother Richard Gooden. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Gunter, Jr. and Geraline Gunter; her grandchildren, Day and Jamani Drevon Martin; her sisters, Jacqueline Lee-Smith (Floyd Smith) and Annie Lois Gooden; her nieces and nephews, Leditrich Goodwin (Randy Goodwin), Tawanna Davidson, Ledtarron Copeland, Richard Gooden III, Chrishelle Green-Rodgers and Donald Green; her godchildren, Andrea Barrow, Terrell Barrow, Monique Barrow, Lateisha Barrow, Wanda Buchanan, Lakia Buchanan, Talieka Buchanan and Danny McIntyre; and her godmother Betty Powell-Jackson.
