It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goldie E. Campbell of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Ellis and Velma Hatcher Ellis; and her husband Charles Lee Campbell, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Campbell (Wendy Briggs) of Efland, Charles Lee Campbell III (Nancy) of Raleigh and Holli Campbell Rogers (Larry) of Wake Forest; her grandchildren, Alyx, Carley Campbell of Raleigh, August and Campbell Rogers of Wake Forest; and her siblings, Philip Ellis (Joyce) of Ooltewah, TN and Judy Daniels of Smithfield. She is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews.
