She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedykt Maksimowski and Sabina Maksimowski. She is survived by: her husband Jan Fortuniewicz, Jr.; her children, Yolanda Bravo (Henry) and Mark Fortuniewicz (Regina); and her granddaughters, Isabel Bravo, Katherine Fortuniewicz and Alison Fortuniewicz.
A wake was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613).
